ECCO’s Electrical Vehicle Alert System (EVAS®) emits an audible warning to alert pedestrians to electric, hybrid, and commercial vehicles driving at low speeds. EVAS comes with a catalog of preinstalled FMVSS141 and EUECE Reg 138 compliant tones for plug and-play functionality. The Electrical Vehicle Alert System also allows OEM manufacturers to create custom audio tones, unique to the manufacturer, to further enhance the user’s EV/HV driving experience. Custom tones include acceleration, deceleration and user experience tones such as charge complete, door open, power on or power off. Compatible with Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles.
